“I purchased a matched pair of these Brimar 6GC7 tubes for my Audio By Van Alstine EC preamp.They sound wonderful! Plenty of warmth and detail.I am using the preamp with the great Prima Luna power amp I purchased from Kevin last year.When you want to find someone who really knows tubes,go to Kevin.”

“I recently bought a CJ tube amp Premier 11a and rolled a couple of more expensive 6CG7 tubes NOS ect. but always come back to this one. Thy really bring the sound alive to a degree the others do not. I cannot recommend this tube enough”

“So glad that Robert saved a pair of these for me. I picked up a used conrad-johnson MV-75 A1 a few years ago, always liked it but it never pulled me all the way in-a little too much c-j "honey glaze". The problem was, I've discovered, the thing never had a really good set of tubes in it. First, I found a quad of very gently used Svetlana Winged C 6550's-nice progress. These Mazdas are the icing on the cake, giving the amp life and the musical "sparkle" that is now drawing me into the music. So very cool to hear this old warhorse at its very best. If you have a vintage c-j power amp, you should definitely grab a set of these Mazdas. Kudos and thanks once again to Kevin and his pals at Upscale!”
