The UltraDeck turntable is a fine performer and excellent value. One would have to spend a quite a bit more money to gain much in the way of sonic benefits. I'm very happy with the audio performance, but the service from Upscale Audio deserves mention also. An Upscale Audio associate called me following their receipt of order to make sure I had the necessary phono preamp capability. The turntable was well-packed, shipped when promised and arrived with setup performed as specified. By the way, unless you're properly equipped and experienced, let Upscale Audio perform the turntable setup. There's no charge (hope this doesn't ever change) and it will save a lot of work for which not every end user is ready. Clear instructions were included in the box to guide the simple final assembly steps and turntable placement. Well done, MoFi Electronics and Upscale Audio.

Back to spinning vinyl...It has been to long...sense the early 1990's when my old trusty direct drive bit the dust. Its been to long to give a comparison. All I can say is I am thrilled with this MoFi TT and the Mastertracker cartridge...The discount on this unit along with Upscale's pro analog teams setup and great shipping made the sale rewarding. Not my first purchase at Upscale and not my last.

Absolutely amazing performance! This table is dead and I mean that in a good way. You can even tap the plinth lightly and hear nothing from the audio during playback. The Mastertracker MM cartridge is seriously up there with really good MC cartridges without some of the drawbacks of that design. Plus for the money you get a 10 inch tonearm and boy does this thing dig in matched with the cartridge even on the tight inner grooves. Now for some audio speak: Big controlled and accurate bass, beautiful mids, and clean and clear highs. Finally a word about Upscale Audio. Ken was right on helping me decide on this table. Everything he said about it is absolutely true (no funny sales business here). Thank you Ken and thank you Upscale. World class service!

I went with the complete MoFi set up. Table/ cartridge / phono stage. I think the synergy of this system punches way above it's price. The best compliment I can make is that I find myself forgetting about the gear and just enjoying the music.

My fifth and perhaps final foray back to records with the MoFi Ultradeck +M . Have had more expensive decks briefly in past and this one may not be fancy looking but with the solid engineering from the MoFi people and the great people involved with design this plays vinyl wonderfully.

This turntable is equal to the excellent reviews it receives. Very good isolation from feedback. Very clean sound. Setup was simple. Hard to beat the UltraDeck for value.

The MoFi Utradeck Turntable +M was the most recent addition to a system that I have had for many years: Audible Illusions Modulus 3 pre-amp, Spica Angelus speakers, Muse 100 Amp, NAC 4300 tuner, Tandberg TCD 310 and Technics SL 2000 turntable with a Sumiko Blue Point cartridge. Recently, I added a REL t7i subwoofer, Marantz 6006 CD player, a Furman Elite 15pfi and some good cables and interconnects. My reference point for the MoFi, however, was not my existing turntable alone, but as much the hundreds of, if not the thousand, hours that I have spent listening to an album collection that dates back to a 1963 Peter, Paul and Mary album that I purchased as a 7-year old. What I heard from the UltraDeck +M was precision, clarity, air, imaging, range, and depth on both acoustic and electric music recordings of many genre that I had not heard on my system before. Sitting back in my listening chair, I felt as if I were in the studio with Mike Bloomfield when he recorded Super Session and in the audience listening to Rhapsody in Blue on an RCA shaded dog. The plinth and platter are stable and well isolated. The tracking is precise. With the help of the folks at Upscale Audio, I made a wise choice, with setup being a breeze.
