Using these in my McIntosh MHA200. Compared to the stock tubes that came with the MHA200 the Mullard 6201's are slightly sweeter and warmer sounding. They have better bass and a richer tone with more body in the midrange. The overall sound is very detailed with excellent clarity. As the 6201's break-in, the treble is starting to gain some air and staging is becoming more spacious. Loving these so far.

This made a fantastic improvement in my Octave V80 SE integrated amp in the v6 position. While I'm used to describing the differences and doing comparisons - the improvement here is hard to put into words. Everything improved. The realism and naturalness improved to such an extent that it was immediately obvious that this tube was not going to be taken back out.

I bought these "Kevin's stash" Mullards along with a NOS 12AX7 "KS" Mullard from Upscale for my Bob Carver Crimson 275. They replaced the stock new production Tung-Sol's that came with the amp. Those sounded great, but I was curious to try some rolling. I won't say the change was startling, but it is definitely noticeable, and better. The change in bass is very subtle. It's deeper and I guess the term would be darker, but definitely not boomy. The biggest change came in the midrange. Much more presence and spaciousness with a more natural sound to both instruments and vocals. The highs sound a little more precise and crisp, but thankfully did not become obnoxious. These are definitely staying in for the time being!

I recently purchased a Presonus ADL600 2 channel microphone preamp and it needed to be re-tubed; the noise floor was creeping above 80dB and ringing was starting to become noticeable. There are 2-6922 tubes and 1-12AT7 tube per channel. I replaced the 6922's with Gold Lion's and the 12AT7's with these Platinum Grade Cryo'd 6201's. "The gold pin version of CV4024, they seem to have a little more zip on top, and a smidge more bass extension."-it's true! Working in conjunction the Gold Lion 6922s, these Platinum Cryo'd 6201's are superb. Lush and three dimensional, tons of headroom, even through out the spectrum, and the signal sounds HUGE. Everything I try (Mix Buss, Upright Bass, Electric Bass, Drum Overheads, Vocals, Ac Guitar, Tambourine) comes out sounding wonderful, if not SOARING! What an improvement over the stock Ruby 12AT7s! I tried JJ's in this 12AT7 spot and the "hugeness" and "3D quality" certainly diminished, if not vanished. These NOS tubes push this ADL600 into world-class microphone preamp territory. Thanks to Upscale for sourcing these NOS Platinum graded Cryo tubes! Great prices too!

I'll keep it short and sweet. Swapped these into the preamp stage of my Raven Audio Osprey, replacing a pair of GE shortplates. Whoa! Incredible difference. Bass is way more extended and full and the soundstage is wider. Terrific tube for the price!

Kevin and Jarrod your advice on tubes is always welcome and always turns out to be exactly what you say they will sound like in a specific product. You ask your clients what they are going to be used in rather than just sell a tube. Really great sounding tubes to fit in different systems, this tube is a keeper.
