My system is primaluna evo300 int,rel 7ti sub, qutest dac,Kanta 1 speakers,node2i. Improvement over stock primaluna el34. Tighter bass, mids much smoother not harsh. Volume about same. Also replaced 2 12au7 Kevin grade.not certain where improvements came from. I believe mullard el34 gave me more bass and much better soundstage. Rel seemed to disappear.I believe mullard 34 an improvement over stock tubes. Mullard replacements are worth the cost.

I have only recently upgraded my system to the amazing stereo imaging and tone of a single point source full range driver per cabinet driven by a 10 watt, single ended, class A tube amp. I could not have imagined anything sounding any better because it was the best I had ever heard. When one of the EL-34 tubes went bad, I spent a week researching them, and was unable to cut through the clutter until I came across Upscale Audio's site. Kevin's straigt talk about the various EL-34 tubes cut through all that clutter and after reading his description of the pros and cons of each tube, I decided on the Mullards with the Cryo treatment. I was pretty sure the Mullards were better than what came standard in the amp. I was not expecting much change in tone or imaging. Boy was I surprised. The clarity, detail, smoothness, and imaging now greatly exceed the original performance of my new amp and speakers. I am in Audio Nirvana.

Still breaking in but so far so good. Noticed a nice smooth liquid depth to the sound developing. Replacing my 2nd set of GL KT-77 which sound good but are punishingly finicky even with Upscales unmatched screening regiment. I just got sick of ferreting out the failing tube. Was worried these Mullards might have less life but quite the opposite. Sound round and warm with plenty of bite when I need it. I run my Primaluna evo 300 Integrated mostly in triode and it’s been really hitting the spot. Buy em if you’re looking. Not much downside so far.

Great tube. Purchased for a Decware SE34I.5 SET. This amp was shipped with EHel34's. Used these to break in the amp as well as an NOS 5U4. All sounding great. Decided to test some options. Installed a pair of (late 60's?) RCA 807's. A bit more sparkle than the EHel34's, but no changes in the bass. Next was the Mullard EL34's (cryo). Out of the box these were more enjoyable than the EH's. The bass was a bit deeper and more textured. I'm about half way through the break-in and they get slightly better each day. The Decware has power meters, true to form, the Upscale matching was perfect. I did read that these Mullards are tough to listen to before break-in. I found that to be not the case. It might be due to the architecture of the Decware, or it might be the the quality control of Upscale. My guess it's both.
