“I have a classic older Prima Luna and I had been using Gold Lions from Updcsle - more expensive, so they must be better thinking - and I like these Mullards more. Mullards have a more detailed musical high when compared with Gold Lions in my amp. The lower end is better with the Gold Lion, but it is easy to accommodate that with multiple speakers. You can't add high end when the amp isn't making it - with Mullards the musical high end is really something special. The tube matching here at Upscale is so damned good, you could probably use whatever they sell and not be dissatisfied, but for those nitpickers - Mullard.”

“I have a Prima Luna 100 amp and enjoy the sound of the EL34 paired with Klipsch Cornwall’s and I also have a Willsenton R8 that came stock with KT88 tubes and replaced them with the Mullard El34’s also listened to on Cornwall’s and Wow I’m very pleased. Great service and nice to have a guy like Kevin who knows his shit! Thanks shaun.”
