I've only been playing my PL Evo 100 int/amp for about 8 hours with these new Mullard EL34's, but can already tell I like them very much. I loved the stock PL tubes, but even though I've had the Evo 100 for about 11 months, I've put many hours on the tubes, and would guess about 5000 hrs believe it or not. I was thinking it might be getting close to me needing a fresh set of tubes. I already got a full set of Gold Lion for the front four slots, and I got a full set of Mullard for the front four slots. I thought I'd try some new power tubes, and since Kevin recommends Mullard for replacement of the stock tubes, I figured I'd try it out. The stock PL tubes are great though, and are very lively, with that edge of your seat sound. These reissue Mullards are more laid back, but with great soundstage and dynamics, just mellowed out some. I'm running these Mullard EL34's with the Mullard 12au7's and 12ax7's in the front slots, and am loving the sound I'm getting. I was thinking about trying the Tung-Sol EL34b power tubes, but I'm liking this Mullard sound so much, I may just stick with what I've got.

I bought these as spares in the event one of the tubes in my Prima Luna evo integrated amp failed. They are not as full bodied as the Prima Luna EL34’s, but they fine until original tubes are available .

Yaqin MC-13s amp. NOS Brimar and NOS Tesla in the preamp sockets. Was running the OEM Shug blue bottles, but looking for that "final touch" for the power tubes. Rolled through a set of Gold Lion KT77, decided I liked the blue bottles better. I believe because I run Klipsch La Scala and the last thing they need is a "bright" output tube in the amp, and the GLs definitely sounded bright on high end. Bought these reissue EL34s after watching the short video by Kevin on them. I honestly didn't expect anything special...I was very nicely surprised. They sound fantastic right after being biased into the amp, didn't appear a beak-in period was needed. Wondering if the reason for that is the short burn-in Upscale does and the cryo treatment I ordered? But they did still get better over a short amount of time. Bass is all there (as compared to the blue bottles and GLs), mids are silky smooth, high end is sparkling clean and details in music on vinyl are being heard for the first time on albums I've been listening to for a long time. I honestly cannot believe music from this amp could sound any better, no matter how much more I could spend on rolling tubes. As a final step toward the tube / vinyl desired sound, you cannot go wrong with these. Makes me wish my other amps used KT77/6CA7/EL34 valves.

These original came with my Reisong amp. The tube burned out. I replaced. Sound is comparable to original. Having fun with my inexpensive tube amp.

Completely satisfied with my purchase, but can’t give a 5th star until I know how long they last. Replaced a pair of original, 3 years old, stock EL-34s on my Prima Luna integrated.
