“This was my first upgrade tube l, replacing the stock JJ in my Cayin HA-6A. It blew the JJ out of the water and creates a magical and chill inducing audio effect, especially when paired with the el34 tube. Its strength is in the mid range and it balances smoothness and detail very well. Good instrument density, soundstage depth, and slam. For the money I was very pleased. The only issue with this tube as it created a desire to try NOS tubes to see how they compare and contrast. But as my first tube upgrade I couldn’t be happier as it is an excellent baseline.”

“My Rogue Audio Sphinx V3 sounds light years better—this is a no brainer upgrade. Compared to the performance of stock tubes, amp sounds like something easily worth 1000USD more (at least that’s how much I would’ve paid if the dealer did blind back to back and told me the upgraded tubes was actually a different amp, one model up). I don’t know if everyone’s experience will be the same, but this is certainly mine.”
