“After rolling out the original 12AX7s to NOS GE 5751s. I started to get a some crackling noise that you only heard when the music was not playing. The original tubes were too bright for my ears they even made my hearing aids whistle (ouch!). The NOS tubes took care of that but I can’t live with that noise. I decided to try these rather than try another expensive NOS tube. To my surprise these Mallards fit my system perfectly. The top end is just right, mids and bass are perfect . I would recommend these for a bright setup like mine. I have a low/midfi system. Jolida 202a w/JJ KT77, JAN Phillips 12AT7 and these new issue Mullards. Klipsch RP6000f(will upgrade to Forte). Mofi Studiodeck w/Ultra cart. Ifi phono stage and Rotel Tribute CD, as well as a vintage T9 Onkyo tuner. This is my second purchase from Upscale. As with my 1st purchase great communication, seamless transaction and excellent packaging. I will be back for the Forte’s.”

“Great sounding tube. Overall experience with Upscale Audio was fantastic. I only purchased 1 tube but the service was welcoming and friendly. Chatted with Joel online before I purchased. When I stopped by to pick up my tube he came out to say hello even though he was on the phone with another customer. Treated me like I was just as important.”
