I bought these some months ago and I am very happy with them. At first I was disappointed because they did not sound very good with my beloved Rogers LS35a and Linn Ninka tallboys. I considered returning them but I heard them with my other speakers (vintage Tannoy IIILZ, modern high end German Physiks HRS120 and bookshelf Dali Menuets) and changed my mind - they sound great with speakers that match them (not sure what it is that causes the mismatch; recommend you borrow them and listen to them before you buy - at the price what have you got to lose?). I have many more expensive amps (like Dartzeel) which works with everything or are even harder to match (like SST) and what I can say is that I would not miss them with the Naims (with the caveat that you listen to them through speakers that match them).

I was shopping for a $3000 or less integrated amp but the I saw these and bought the combination immediately. They were shipped in less than 48 hours and (fortunately, as it turned out) had been carefully double-boxed, because when they arrived it looked like the shipper had attacked the amp’s box with a machete. But the amp wasn’t harmed, soon in they went, and worked perfectly. The amp has no problem at all powering Martin-Logan electrostats in a medium sized room, and the preamp/amp combo sounds great using a Schiit Gugnir as a source. I’m hardly a subtle “this amp sounds as colored as raspberry yogurt, while that one is smoother than a politician kissing a baby” kind of listener, but I’ll say that this stuff is very well made, sounds great, has no quirks other than the bizarre preamp to amp connection ( the right cabling comes with it though.) A word of praise for the dealer, too. The price was great, the gear was excellently packed, and there was no puffery involved trying to sell me on Naim. I live in Hawaii so most of my shopping is by mail, and this dealer is the first place I’ll look the next time I’m shopping.

I've been a Naim owner for a long time and nothing is more musically pleasing. I bought this pair from my local dealer (who has since closed) and paid almost $6,000 for them. He may have given me 10% off. It's the best system I've ever owned. I have had a couple pairs of speakers in this system, one of them quite hard to drive (86dB efficient Dynaudios) and it has plenty of power and grunt. The best part is the midrange though. Love it. I was thinking of getting a Flatcap power supply upgrade and was seeking out a new dealer and saw this price. Though I wish I would have saved $3700 I still love my Naim amp and preamp.
