This unit pulls every detail out of your cartridge while maintaining an incredibly low noise floor. I'm using a low output MC cartridge and the amplifier is using maximum gain and provides an amazing reproduction minus the noise. Incredible example of what's possible when the design goal is quality performance. The level of quality and performance versus price is an easy decision.

Very pleased with InTheGroove. Replaced The Vinyl, highly regarded by M. Framer. Pathos stage and details are really impressive, the bass concise without any hint of boominess. Vocals both male and female shine brightly (in positive way, not piercing). It is great complement to Pathos InPol Remix and Sonus Faber. Italian sound of elegance and warmth.

I noticed an immediate difference in the sound stage. It was wider and far more 3 dimensional, far closer to a live performance. I use the balanced outputs, into the balanced inputs on my hybrid pre/headphone amp, then run my analog through two ECC82 tubes. The clarity is awesome. I highly recommend the Pathos.

Very smooth sounding and low noise. I left it "on" for several days to break it in.

The best sounding phono amp I have had. Very easy to set up with most controls on the front. Has quiet background and very transparent mids and highs. I am completely satisfied. Dale

Was a considerable upgrade from my Nagaoka MP500 MM.

I was initially disappointed when I started using this, there was a weird static sound and the sound quality was just ok for a purchase like this. Fast forward three months and this is dead quiet and the soundstage is amazing. I've never had a phone preamp so quiet and true to the source. When people come over, if they don't look at my turntable they have no idea that I'm playing an album, literally no surface noise and everything is presented with a full frequency range. Glad I waited it out!
