“A++++. Sounds great and looks good too. Have connected a Cambridge streamer supporting Tidal and a usb hard drive containing my digital music library (CD rips, vinyl CDRW rips and free lossless concert downloads), a CD player and a nice vinyl system. It's output is amplified by an Exposure IV power amp driving Living Voice Avatar loudspeakers. I'm using Kimber KCAG from my phono and to the amp, Silver Streak from the streamer and the CDP, and 8TC speaker cables. I expected this preamp to work well in my value for the dollar music system and it does. Thanks to Upscale Audio for carrying these quality Prima Luna products and the friendly sales people who assisted me in completing the transaction.”

“After considerable indecisiveness, Joel with Upscale Audio, pushed the needle from want to a need on this product. And what can I say that has not already been expressed more eloquently by Kevin Deal and countless other customers. PrimaLuna makes an excellent product that punches well above its weight. Fit and finish are flawless, and the sound quality is dynamic, subtle, and at times haunting. I paired this with a 1970 McIntosh Power amp and Sutherland KC Vibe phono stage. The PrimaLuna rounds out the overall sound of my system, adding a restrained warmth and convenience not present before.”

“Just a follow up to my review from 2 years ago. I still have the EVO 100 and it continues to perform flawlessly. It is truly a high performance device and I cannot imagine how spending more money could better the performance - maybe more features, but that would be it. I still highly recommend this marvelous preamp.”

“The EVO 100 is simply amazing. I have had it since July and it is everything I have read about. The sound is smooth and detailed, but never harsh. The soundstage it projects is enormous, extending several feet beyond the outer edges of the speakers. It has exceeded my expectations. I do agree that volume control via the remote is too coarse (needs finer increments), and it would be nice if the volume control know had a lighted indicator. Quibbles aside, highly recommended.”
