First tube amp I’ve owned and I’m so blown away buy sound, even with low volumes. I know now why there is no bass or treble control with tube amps never would ever need it. Sound is so flawless and warm and so detailed every nucense sound and sounds I’ve never heard before in audio recordings Evan with just ok speakers but mind you you’ll still want better speakers I know I’ll get new ones. Weather you like digital or vinyl everything has HUGE DYNAMICS ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ In my opinion Primaluna is the best tube amps. Just watch videos by Kevin Deal and you’ll be sold. Also hats off to the best costumer support I’ve ever seen.. I will always return to upscale for any audio needs PERIOD. By the way did I say fantastic sound quality

This is my first tube purchase of any type, the most expensive stereo component I've bought, and I don't go through tons of amps or claim to have a golden ear, so take those caveats in mind. I use a top of the line Denon receiver for a 7.1.4 home theater and added the Evo 300 integrated amp to my front left and right speakers to improve the musicality. It's added a layer of richness over the Denon and cheaper Emotiva and Monolith extra amps. I tried another tube integrated, the Rogue Cronus Magnum, for a short trial, and while the sound quality differences weren't very noticeable, the Rogue had a much more noticeable noise floor (about 5 dB) and was returned quickly. I am giving 5 stars maybe more for service than the performance. My wife and I visited the store at the start of our vacation and Mike McLeod spent a lot of time explaining tubes to us and getting us set up to listen. I was going to buy one of the less expensive PrimaLunas but noticed such a big difference in sound quality, I stepped up to the 300. Via e-mail and phone calls, Mike provided a ton of follow-up on how to get the best out of my PrimaLuna and what else I might need to take it to another level. (A DAC/streamer is on my Christmas list; this sounded sublime with the Lumin in store.) Then, after DirecTV installed a coax cable that introduced a ground loop hum, two DirecTV technicians were pretty useless to resolving the issue they created. But Upscale's service manager, John, helped me overcome it in a series of calls and e-mails. One last thing, the owner was on non-stop calls while I was there. But as we left, Kevin Deal ran outside, thanked us for the purchase and gave me some advice. If my experience is any indication, you will not go wrong if you shop and buy at Upscale Audio!

Subject: EVO 300 .........Sweet Jesus! Hi Kevin Just a quick note to let you know all is good. FedEx dropped the Primaluna off about and hour ago- and as luck would have it, my house is in complete disarray from the remodel- but, that didn’t stop me from unboxing this beast, throwing it in my rack and attaching the only source I had handy - a $20 Bluetooth dongle- hooked up the Cheviots - and figured I’d listen to the Sound of Silence by Disturbed ...... all I can say is HOLY SHIT!!!!...... the air around the vocals...... the bass I was missing, the sweet melodious sound of tubes.....it’s all there..... Stunned is all I can say. Is possible that this setup is even better the my dialogue pre/hp/Nola set up? I believe so..... this is a fantastic combo..... can’t wait to hear how this sounds after everything fully broken in.... I’m as giddy as a 5 year old at Christmas. Now to go dig my PS audio dac out and see what this combo can really do... As always, thanks for the help.
