“The PrimaLuna EVO 300 Tube Power-amp (PL) is an amazing value. What you get for the money is just astonishing and I have been doing this for over 30 years. I purchased the PL for a second system. My main system has a power amp that costs about 6 times what the PL EVO 300 cost. While I clearly prefer my main system amp, the PrimaLuna delivers at least 80% of the main system amp. The KT150 offer, I am glad I did it. While the EL34's in the PL are significantly more detailed with much tighter bass and clearer highs than I expected, I prefer that little additional extension top and bottom along with some increase in linearity at least to my ears. However, KT150 are what I listen to most of the time. it could be that this sound is just what I am used to and prefer. The advice Kevin and his team provide to just play the PL as it arrives for at least a 100 hours is great advice.”
