“Amp has good sound and descent power. Unfortunately when I got it one of the tubes did not light up. I was told this happens and that the tube is still working, but it sure ruins the look of brand new amp to have one unlit tube.”

“First tube amp - always wanted to try. Read all of the reviews, but never saw or heard one in person until I fired it up. Using a streaming service, from router to Node 2i to the PrimaLuna to speakers: and it's like I'm hearing these recordings for the first time ever. This takes all the mystery out of using a tube amplifier. I'm so glad I went this direction. Delivery was flawless. Packaging was perfect. I connected it, and the first time I tried using HT bypass there was a low frequency hummmm coming from the speakers. I called, and learned about "ground loops" - and your staff provided links to a solution that ordered for $20, and it took 5 minutes to fix after it was delivered. Very hands-on service. I've only had it a few weeks - it already makes my Cornwall VI's rock! And you say it only gets better as it breaks in. Hard to imagine!”

“I have had this amp long enough to feel confident when I say it is an excellent amplifier. I have been an enthusiast for 45 years and have thrown crazy time and money at this hobby (obsession) and with this unit in my system I have finally reached a place where I don't have anything I feel needs to be improved upon. I was getting very discouraged changing speakers and cables and amplifiers and pre-amps etc. over and over and over and, well you get the point, trying to find the sound I was looking for. I had many tube and solid state pieces from very highly regarded company's in the business and though many performed quite excellent it seemed I was limited to playing certain types of music or only extremely well made recordings. It was always a compromise made somewhere to get something else musically. I honestly could not understand it. It relegated a huge part of music to the no longer enjoyably category for me. This was some of the more important and loved music for me unfortunately. I have had systems that surprised me with how they made my music sound new again and better, but this trumps them all. The sound I am experiencing now is so incredibly full and detailed top to bottom. I just listened for example to Dark Side of The Moon and am floored at how many more instruments I hear and the separation revealing each in it's own space. Notes have a lot more to them now, not such a straight line but much more body and flow. Voices sound so much more realistic. I have had systems where voices sounded really good but they just sound more real now, if that makes sense. This unit sounded excellent stock but I just had to tube roll a little of course so I had Kevin send me some NOS tubes as follows, Brimar CV4003 for the front two and Radiotechnique 12AU7's for the other four. I am staying with the PrimaLuna EL34'S right now because it sounds absolutely spectacular as is. The system this replaced, composed of class A mono block amplifiers weighing in around 150lbs plus and a true duel mono pre-amplifier, was several multiples higher in price but was dull in comparison and a little flat. I have this paired with Tannoy Legacy Arden's and the new EVO-100 DAC for digital, excellent unit as well, and Manley Labs Phono stage with a VPI Signature classic for my vinyl playback. Kevin replaced my whole system and I couldn't be happier. Thank you Kevin for the excellent guidance and service and for caring so much for our shared passion.”

“I had a very informative conversation with Mr Deal about the benefits of upgrading to the Primaluna EVO 400 Integrated. i had been to the showroom in the past and listened to the Dialogue Premium HP and really liked what I heard. With the introduction of the EVO line I had to decide if New Edition was worth the price upgrade. For me, the I'm happy with my decision. I'm more than pleased with the purchase. At the moment it is used with Cambridge Audio CD transport and Cambridge Audio Network Player/Streamer and Martin Logan Motion 60xt. Thanks again for hospitality on the in store visit and also the phone conversation....”
