“how funny, I am writing to you folks a second time in as many days. ... I dig the ring. I really like how it looks, and thankfully I bought a sealed warped album to finally feel the right excuse to pay a grand for it! well, actually I think I got a 20% mark down .. best of all, it works! on warped and flat LP's, hahahaha ... thx-Alex.”

“I have a VPI Super Prime Scout turntable I bought about a year ago from Upscale. Kat skillfully mounted a Soundsmith Zephyr MKIII cartridge on the arm so when it arrived it was a very easy, quick setup leading straight to vinyl heaven. I upgraded my phono pre-amp to Upscale’s Music Fidelity VYNL with an SBooster to replace the wall wart. No record playing addition could bring much improvement to this I thought! Well.....wrong. I had heard a bit about VPI’s Periphery Ring but about a grand for a stainless steel ring? Eventually I did a bit of research and took a bit of a risk (Upscale has a great return policy) and I decided to try it. Was I impressed? You know it! The arm and cartridge track so smooth and flat now that I have to look closely to see if the table is rotating or standing still. The Ring is not just for warped records but EVERY record sounds markedly better! Bass is tighter, sound staging and separation is greater....you name it. All improved! Is it awkward to use? Yeah, it’s a 7.5 lb. ring you do not want to drop while hovering over $4500 worth of turntable! Does it go on smoothly? Not always but I’m getting better at it. Was it worth the money? Many times over! Pretty amazing. If you have a VPI table that can handle it buying this ring clamp is a no brainer. Highly recommended and thank you Kat!”

“I originally ordered a VPI Periphery Ring from another Online dealer and when I received it, it was flawed with a bent area of the ring. That dealer did not want to send out another one because they said the blemish was insignificant. I was not insignificant to me. So they rather choose to refund me instead of ship out another one. Needless to say, I will no longer do business, nor recommend that specific Online dealer to anyone. So then I purchased my VPI Periphery Ring from Upscale Audio, which is where we bought our AURALiC Aries G2 Steamer. We love it by the way! ... Nevertheless, our VPI Periphery Ring was received in perfect condition as expected.”

“Excellent quality, and does what it’s supposed to do. Very much well worth the investment . Occasionally I come across a record that is slightly undercut in diameter so in those cases this product will not work. The customer service at Upscale Audio remains superb and unaffected by the pandemic and the closure of their listening room. Upscale Audio is the place I go for all turntable accessories.”
