“First HIGH END brand new turntable I have ever bought. I have bought NEW Pioneer and Denon TTs. However, this Rega Planar 6 with Exact 2mm cartridge (installed) is the FIRST, and likely the LAST High End turntable I will ever but because I LOVE this Plant 6 so much I do not think I will ever need another TT again. Worth EVERY SINGLE PENNY!!! Incredible turntable and paired with my Rega iO Integrated Amplifier I have a sound system, that has exceeded my expectations more than I can have ever imagined.”

“I had narrowed down my wish list to three turntables all within a couple hundred dollars of each other. After reviewing my choices with Kat, I decided to go with the Rega planar 6 w/ Exact MM. Wow, I never realized how noisy my old turn TT was. I'm sold on the P6, what a upgrade. This is one Bad Ass table, and takes my system to the next level. I'm running it through a Vincent PHO 701 phono pre, into a Vincent SV 500, & Klipsch Forte IV. Some say you can't buy happiness, I will say when I put on one of my favorite records I am now smiling from ear to ear. It sounds that good. Thank you Kat, Jean-Paul, & Kevin.”

“The Rega Planar 6 Turntable is a good investment. I don’t listen exclusively to vinyl so I didn’t opt for the moving cartridge, but for my not so discerning ear, the moving magnet Exact cartridge sounds amazing… to me. The construction of this turntable more than meets my needs. It’s silent and easy to use and set up; it also looks sexy on display in my living room. The flat blackish gray finish appeals to my taste. Upscale Audio set everything up and marked everything with tape so when I received it, setup was a breeze, and all at no extra charge. Great customer service! I Highly recommend the Rega Planar 6 and Upscale Audio!”

“I love this turntable. It is so good looking, and lightweight. I started out looking for something with a heavy plinth and bigger platter but I kept coming back to this until I finally said to myself fuggit, just buy this thing already. The engineering is proven that less mass works. Rega turntables work. and they keep on working. I am extremely happy I did! I got this along with a Rega Elex R and a pair of wharfdale lintons. What a nice set up! I believe I got away with the best value. I did not save my way into a comprised setup rather I got the best sounding system for the least amount of money. Yay me! And within this setup, there is a notable sense PRAT. i think that may be from a lack of vibration, perfect continued speed, black background.. the sound is more fluent when it is not distorted and sound reproduction is always distorted … but with this rig a good recording really sounds good! I played “doolittle” by the Pixies. Not like my all-time favorite album but when I went to see them live I was awestruck by how well they played, and sang .. and by how good these meldoies really are. The recording of this album was mixed well. Hearing it on my P6…just blew my mind. 3d sound imaging … I could feel Kim deals thumbs on the bass and the vocals were as real as a conversation going on in my living room. I feel like it will take years before i have the need to upgrade and i did the right starting out with the exact. The detail is so good and i can look forward to getting an MC cart and sep phono someday, but no hurry or need to spend that much now. The music gives me chills!”
