Made setup a breeze. Got the alignment just right on the first attempt. Only took about 5-10 minutes. It is built sturdy for repeated use as well. This is a well-made precision tool.

For once there is a very good and easy tool to set the alignment on cartridges. I run 4 different cartridges at different times, change the headshell set the tracking force and I am good to go. Also if you want to try a different alignment you have three to choose from. I also swap out turntables, I have two with similar but different arms and changing the alignment is a piece of cake.

Set up was made pretty simple because of the Feickert protractor. Highly recommended! Thanks Upscale.

This is a finely engineered piece of gear. It gives all 3 common alignment choices, measures pivot to spindle distance (most helpful if you are mounting a separate tonearm on a table), and is easy to use. One star off - I would highly recommend that Feickert make this gauge white with black lines. The black plate makes it very difficult to accurately see the stylus. Also, I'm not sure if using their overhang measurement for all cartridges is accurate. I use a Technics SL1200Mk2 turntable, and there is a significant difference in overhang using the Feickert than when using the Technics own overhang gauge.
