“I do say this personal Player looks and sounds GREAT! I also have to admit to some issues (2 mainly): 1) (This one is generic) I do not like the fact that nowadays we have to download an app to make brand new items we purchase work correctly. I also hate that owner's manuals are no longer included with the product. What we get is a "QUICK START" guide. The O.M. has to be downloaded from their website (pain in the ass. and it is mainly to cut their cost as well as a way to enable them to track us online. 2) So when I tried to go to the website they give in the "QUICK START" guide, I see a message that says: This page does not exist (which is even worse than a 404) and I tried it for 2 days. I will add now a third issue: 3) the player must only accept 1 or 2 type(s) of sd cards because when I tried one, it doesn't stay in all the way. It works only if I keep it pressed in with my thumb while I listen. In lew of this, I think even at this bargain price, it is not a bargain. Even though I love the sound and looks of it, I sometimes feel I just bought another item I love but is a pain in the ass to use.”

“Sounds great, especially the class A mode but the battery goes faster. Very happy with it except for one thing. It seems like the logo is permanently engraved on the screen unless that is a protective layer that can be removed. If that can be removed from it I would rate it a 5+”

“Since this was a Christmas self-gift, not being stupid about spending was a priority. Upscale made the ridiculous affordable. I'm still in my infancy regarding DAP feature utilization, all I wanted was something that delivered really good sound. The QP2R exceeded my expectations. It is an impressive sounding piece of hardware, that is capable of delivering chills. The splurge was worth it.”

“Okay, it has a Terrible Display - very hard to read, but what it lacks here it makes up with it's amazing sound. TI subsequently lurchased a more expensive Astell & Kern SP2000 thinking it would be even better and certainly would have a better UI, but only after a week I returned it without even the slightest hesitation - it was very obvious it didn't have the detail, soundstage or punch of the QP2R”
