“This replaces my MACBook as my source for Roon Core. I've noticed an improvement in sound quality and now do not have to have my MACBook open when running Roon. I now just use my iPad to operate Roon.”

“I was running Roon on a laptop, but running it on a dedicated Nucleus server is definitely the way to go. Utterly reliable, no fan noise and great sound.”

“The Roon Nucleus works better for the Roon core program than using a desktop computer. The sound is a little better, the system runs quickly, and you don't have all the problems of anti-virus and windows updates. You would have to spend a great deal more cash to notice a small improvement in musical performance over the Roon Nucleus server. You can still always add a different endpoint for the digital renderer to the DAC. Roon pulls up my digital files on the Synology drive well. There was a problem setting this up, but the Roon support was able to help. The S Booster linear power supply probably also helps with the improved sound quality.”

“Love this thing. Beautifully made, beautifully packaged and extremely easy to set up. It's obvious that the folks at Roon have really worked hard to make their software work hand in glove with this lovely piece of hardware. It looks terrific, sounds great (most importantly) and is simple and intuitive to use. Very nice. Thanks guys!”
