Combined with the EVO 400i I purchased it’s like I stated earlier best out of McIntosh, Krell, Mark Levinson, Linn, Classe, Marantz, Conrad Johnson, Jeff Rowland. Thank you very much!

If I had one word for this tube, it would be “exquisite “. It does everything well and has a reference level presentation. Nothing lacking, and nothing in excess. It is very musical and pulls you into the performance emotionally. The soundstage is huge. Dynamics are fantastic. The mid presentation is balanced so compared to other tubes such as the Brimar, the voices are a step or two back. That’s not a fault, but some may prefer the voice to be a step or two more forward. That is the only consideration I can share that may give one pause depending on what you are looking for in the positioning of voices in the sound stage. If you want a balanced reference tube, this is the one. I am very happy with the quality and service upscale has provided. Thank you Sean for all you do!

I’d used these tubes from Upsacle in the past and regrettably let them go with a preamp I sold. Installing another set in my current preamp reminded me why I missed them so much. Very little burn in time required to notice the increased detail and timbre improvements, which aren’t subtle changes, either. In short, these are impressive 12AU7 tubes. For me, well worth the money.

Swapped out a different set of tubes for these and the improvement was immediately audible. Thank you.

I am using this in the Black Ice Foz SSX soundstage expander. It throws a nice airy soundstage, and removes a bit of the darkness of the stock 12AU7. The Fox SSX is interesting; I had played for a while with HQP's upsampling / dithering options to bring a slightly more "analog" feel to my DAC. In then end, the SSX with output straight from Roon (no oversampling) sounds great -- and the Radiotechnique tube added the perfect balance to my system.

Still breaking them in, but they already sound great in my Evo 400 preamp. Very musical and airy highs with lots of extension in the bass as well. Very nice upgrade.

These are great tubes. I'm using them in my PrimaLuna EVO 400 IA. I purchased these as backups. Good NOS tubes are going fast. Your NOS Brimar 12AU7's are now gone. This is a shame. To my ears the combination of Brimar 12AU7's and Radiotecnique 12AU7's are awsome. I wanted to make sure I have stock for the long haul. I would like to thank Ken and Brandon for their help. You guy's are great.
