“Have a very good setup with Focal 1008be bookshelves running off of tube amplification. Only issue was I was missing the lower octave. Added the REL S/510 using the high level input so I could capture the sonic signature of my amplifier. I was able to fine tune the phase, crossover, and volume for a seamless match for a full range sound. Thinking of adding a second, identical sub to further complement the integration.”

“Finally had some time to tune and listen to my new quad set up of REL S/510’s. It’s very hard to put into words how special these black boxes are. I hate to use the term sub woofer because it might give the impression these are like other subs you may have heard. They are not that flabby,bloated muddy sound many have experienced with lesser subwoofers. The REL S/510’s provide an eye opening all encompassing experience that has to be heard to be believed. They seamlessly blend with my mains. I didn’t add 4 subwoofers to my room, I added 4 drivers to my main speakers. If four REL’s sound this good then six is the obvious way to go...Thank you Upscale for the hook up!”

“Better than expected. When set up I find it very musical having crisp base punch without being muddy. Great addition to my 2 channel system.”

“Great sub. Excellent fit and finish. Integrated very well with my system following Rel guidelines. Used mostly for two channel listening I found it very quick and just the right tone,was also surprised how much it increased the sound stage.It does need some time to break in and after a few weeks went deeper. The team at Upscale was phenomenal to deal with and I would highly recommend them to anyone.”
