“I am not able to quantify how much this linear power supply helps with the Roon Nucleus- I haven't done a direct comparison yet. I did notice after 3 days the sound got noticeably better than it ever was with Roon operating on the desktop. The power supply runs completely cool. The cost was not great and most of the high priced gear uses good linear power supplies. The combined cost of the Roon Nucleus server with the Sbooster power supply, and the Synology 218+ NAS storage drive was still far lower than the cost of packaged music servers.”
