I use these on a second system in a smallish front room of my home. Very 'musical' as most people would say. They fit well with my Suzanne Vega; Kaki King sensibilities. Excellent with voices. Some do comment about a lack of dynamic range and they would be correct. I chased most of that away with Nordost Hiemdall 2 interconnects and speaker cables. After appropriate break in, the tonal separation and depth will be improved and will meet much of the dynamic range needs. For a bookshelf speaker, they're an amazingly great value. System: Blu Sound Streamer, Bel canto C5i integrated, Nordost Heimdall 2 interconnects. Enjoy.

I am not totally sold on them as of yet. After 4 weeks or so they have 'brightened'/loosened up. They were totally dead when I first played them. For a small speaker, I can get a very open sound but have trouble getting an exact location of guitar players/singers in center stage. I need to confirm, but I don't think I am getting all the detail that I hear from my previous speakers? (Aria 926s) I am using my same prima Luna Dialogue 4 and Altair G1 streaming Neil Young from Massey Hall with Tidal and Qobuz. The room is different and not very good since it is a tile floor and very little soundproofing (absorption or dispersion). The previous room had carpet and a sliding glass door with heavy drapes. Anyway, as I mentioned the previous speakers were Focal Aria 926s, so I will order and compare the Focal 906s to the Tannoys. For me, the Spendors aren't efficient enough since my hobby is building amp kits of all sorts (SE 5 watts). All my humble opinion. thank you ---rkn---

This is my second pair of these. Once that is run by a small McIntosh integrated office system. The other works with her hi-fi rose integrated. Both systems sound and look beautiful. I couldn’t be happier.

Joel Bennett helped me end up with the minis, an aurrender streamer, chord cutest dac, rel 7ti, and the prima Luna evo 300. I added a second 7ti. 13x14 room with 14 foot high ceiling, minimal room treatment (books, rug,, etc.). This for me is real good. The rels bring it all together, turn them off and some of the emotion is lost and it’s less of a performance. The evo 300 is the piece that takes the the rest to heaven. This combination with the right song brings real tears and makes it hard to turn the music off.

Great midrange and treble. Even better than my 3/5A. The bass is there but not as deep and strong. Very pretty. Expensive for the price but worth it.

I can honestly say that after these babies got broken in, I’m blown. So musical, airy, I could hear the tiniest musical instrument being played. They’re beautiful, won’t get tired looking at them and guaranteed my main speakers for life. Couldn’t ask for more ( but then has to be paired with a sub ). I have my audio room 12x16 and it’s perfect, powered by mc MA252. TY upscale audio!
