“THIS is why we spend the big bucks: Absolutely even-handed frequency balance bottom-to-top that eludes most tubes. Finer gradations in dynamics and level. A transparency throughout that other tubes can't manage. Greater detail retrieval especially noted in the higher frequencies. Ideal image focus. Better dimensionality than most tubes. A compelling purity of tone. And the whole exceeds the sum of all these parts.”

“I have used many Brands of tubes in my Carver Gear! they all sound Okay,But these Telefunken 7DG8,s really set the Sound Stage in Purity & Realism. I am very impressed w/these tubes in my Sunfire Classic Vacuum tube Preamplifier. I APPLAUDE Kevin for his expertise & knowledge . Job Well Done!!”

“This is a very nice tube. Has good detail and imaging. Using it in a tube buffer works well adds nice color and detail. Also nice tube to have in your tube collection you can't go wrong original telefunken made in germany. take time to burn in. Good sound around 200hrs. tube is really nice.. Thanks!”

“This Telefunken tube throws a big realistic image. I really like the tone, the bass is big very slightly rounded. Top to bottom this tube is very well balanced. I don't know if I can recommend it for a phono stage, in my system it was a little too noisy although the noise did exceed the noise floor of most records.”

“Bought 4 Telefunken PCC88/7DJ8 tubes. Nicely packaged with test results on each tube box. Working flawlessly in my EAR 868 for 25 hours to date. Highly recommended!”

“I've never been completely happy with my Melos MA222C. It always sounded a bit dark, missing sparkle in the highs. I've tried several 6DJ8/6922 variants including Amperex Bugle Boys, Sovteks, GE and JJ Tesla. These Telefunken 7DJ8 really opened up the preamp.”

“I replaced the 6dj8 tubes in my Fosgate Sig Phono with these tubes. I was not happy with the noise in the original tubes. The Tele's are not just more quiet but are much better balanced from top to bottom. This was a.big improvement! The down side is that I am now looking at my other tube equipment and wondering... This is your fault Kevin!”

“Bought a quad set of these with the cryo treatment and they sound incredible in my Manley Chinook. Using the gold pin Mullard 12AT7s in my Manley Shrimp and I have really discovered a great combo. I would recommend these highly and Upscale has them for a steal of a price.”
