“I've got 4 pairs of 12au7's, and am trying to figure out which one sounds best to me for my PL Evo 100. I've got Gold Lion reissue 12AU7, Mullard reissue 12AU7, Shuguang 12AU7-T, and Tung-sol 12AU7W. My pick is down to the Shuguang's and the Tung-Sol's. Both sound great with spacious sound. I've got the Tung-Sol 12AX7 Gold Pin's in the inside slots, and love those, so they will stay. Probably go with Tung-Sol, just to match the other tubes.”
