“I copied this from my review of the Tung-Sol 12ax7 review since I changed both of them at the same time in my amp. These 12au7 are used as inverter tubes in my stereo amp. I'm new at tubes and recently purchased my first stereo tube amp. The amp came with Shuguang tubes. The Tung-Sols are much clearer with more detail. It's not subtle either. I really like these tubes! I would definitely buy these again.”

“I bought these tubes for my hybrid DAC and was quite pleased with the sound quality especially considering the very reasonable price. These were a bit lower in gain than than the 12AU7s I had in there so keep that in mind. I am now going to try one of the more expensive offerings and see how much difference there is. “These are beautiful sounding as well as beautifully made. There is the classic sweetness of the Tung-Sol sound but there is also all the detail just without any grain what so ever. Can't recommend it enough.”
