“Popped in a pair of Tung-Sol as one of the original PL34 lost its vacuum (still worked though). Sounded fine right out of the box, perhaps sounding even better now.”

“The tubes arrived quickly and were installed in my PrimaLuna DiaLogue Integrated amp. At first (as expected) they were a bit "rambunctious" - but they settled in nicely after several hours of use. Currently with just under 100 hours of use, they sound wonderful: good measure of punch in the bass, and quite warm in the mids and highs. I had been using KT-88's, which have become quite a bit more expensive and difficult to source. The Tung-Sol EL34B's offer very pleasing sound at a lower price. I am quite happy with them.”
