“These tubes are driving Tung-Sol KT-150 power tubes in my Class A1 Differential Mono Blocks. I had used them originally several years ago and replaced them with SED Winged C tubes, now discontinued. The Tung-Sol EL34B is a bargain for $50 less. To my ears, with the Winged C tubes, I heard no musically meaningful difference to justify their cost.”

“These Tung-Sol EL34B tubes have been the best I've had in my setup. They're in a Yaqin MS-30L connected to some vintage speakers I bought in the mid-1980's from a short lived company named Spectrum Audio. I originally upgraded the Shuguang tubes that came w/ the amp with Genelex KT77s. They significantly increased the overall clarity of audio, but even after 100 hours they didn't have the midrange richness I had hoped for. Those were followed by EH 6CA7s that did improve the bass quite a bit, and the midrange somewhat. These T-S EL34Bs came next, and they really have delivered what I was looking for. Great from bass to treble, and - at least in my setup - the midrange is both rich and clear. I'm extremely happy with both these tubes and my shopping experience with Upscale.”

“I’m really impressed with the sound that I’m getting from these. I replaced the stock Primaluna EL34’s iand heard a pretty big improvement. Truth be told, the stock tubes were probably past their prime and anything new would have helped. However, even weeks after replacing them I’m still being wowed by the sound from these affordable Tung-Sols. Will probably stick to these for quite a while.”

“I'm very happy with my purchase. I have purchased tubes from other sites on the internet only to have issues with mismatch in gain and tubes failing within a year. At the recommendation of others I turned to Upscale Audio and while it's only been a month or two the tubes are rock solid and judging from the bias settings very closely matched.”

“Tung-Sol EL34B no cryo When you order your Primaluna amp or integrated amp, also pick up a quad/dual-quad of these. These should be where you begin your tube rolling adventure. Or in some cases, this will also be where the tube journey ends, as these Tung-Sol EL34B are very good. With the stock Primaluna tubes in my EVO 300, I had worried that the amp might be a step down from my old Cary gear. Once the Tung-Sol EL34B were installed, it was obvious that the Primaluna EVO 300 is capable of great things, and that the stock Primaluna tubes have a limited skill set. In my opinion it is not worth spending the listening time breaking in the Primaluna EL34 as they will not survive comparisons with other EL34. The Tung-Sol EL34B provides much of the classic EL34 sound we covet, and they do so without any obvious flaws.”
