“Excellent response time with order. Also, excellent support from staff prior to purchase. Anyway, placed the KT -150 tubes in Primaluna Dialogue Premium HP Integrated Amp - took a few hours to open up but now they’re literally singing with more articulation and separation. Sounds great. Thanks!”

“KT150s are a huge step up from the EL34 that come in The Primaluna hp dialogue. As reported they have bass punch. I have had these 8 tubes for few years, but have not put many hours on them. Life…. I had one today that went poof today with smoke after after a few pops. It took out the fuse on the primaluna, but the Primaluna was a champ after replacing the fuse and sticking an old el34. Disappointed in the lifespan of the tube. Hope the remaining 7 last longer.”

“Great sounding tube that is let down by reliability issues. The KT-150 had a noticeable improvement in dynamic swings and bass punch in my Evo300 power amplifier. Unfortunately, 3 of the 6 six tubes I've purchased produce noise that sounds like ghosts moving around at the end of long hallway. Eerily hollow sounding tube distortion that is audible on quiet passages or between tracks. The noise moves with the tubes (when switching channels) and goes away completely when I insert my GL KT-88s, or stock EL34s. In short, the KT-150 is a $400 disappointment. The GL KT-88s offer most of the attributes of the KT-150 with much higher reliability. I'll also be trying the Tung-Sol 7581a next week at 1/4th the cost.”

“Replaced KT 120s in my Primaluna Dialogue Premium amps run mono. A similar character to the 120s, but more dynamic and forceful. Excellent sound-staging and imaging. Deep powerful and well defined bass. With the 120s I generally preferred ultralinear mode (with most material). but I more often run the 150s in triode mode when listening to music.”
