“On my Evo300 amp, these tubes are a solid upgrade to both the stock PL-34s and the well-burned in KT-120s I tried out, both sourced from Upscale. The 150s add a very nice touch of air and clarity to the highs, while preserving the gorgeous mid-range this amp is capable of. And, of course, the low-end is rock solid. The most striking improvement is to the sheer scale of the presentation. Orders of magnitude. Four piece jazz ensembles are literally in the room. The Utah SO's Sibelius Symphonies 1-4 on Vanguard Classics are huge -- deep and immersive. For context, in addition to the Evo, I'm running an Eastern Electric Minimax pre [w/ Kevin's Ciftes and GEC rectifier], dual REL subs, and Audience Clairaudient 1+1 v.2s.”

“When Kevin said that he runs these tubes on his amp at home, I had to try them. They do not disappoint! Be aware that these tubes are gigantic, so if you have an PrimaLuna EVO 300 or similar style, the tube cage will not fit once you install these bad boys. But, to be honest, I prefer the look of the naked tubes - makes the set up look a bit more bad ass - to match the sound.”

“i’m using the kt 150s with inspire single ended amp sound a bit hard but maybe that’s the power talking. no complaints. russia is doing something right”
