The tung sol kt 150's takes the PrimaLuna Dialogue HP Integrated with standard el 34's from great to spectacular! More articulate while remaining smooth and rich...but it's the bass where things really take off. Bass is deeper and tighter with the kt 150's. Sounds like I moved way upmarket with my speakers. A very worthwhile and instantly enjoyable investment.

I've had my PrimaLuna Dialogue HP Integrated for just over a year and decided to replace my EL34's with the KT150's. Best decision I've made next to buying my PrimaLuna. They changed everything. My Martin Logan Aerius speakers have never sounded so Powerful, detailed and soooo liquidly smooth. If you have PrimaLuna Dialogue HP mono or HP Integrated don't wait too replace your Power tubes, worth every dollar!!

I usually expect small tweaks from tube rolling. However, the replacing the stock KT88 primaluna tubes of Tung Sol KT150 in my Primaluna monos yielded a huge increase in top to bottom sonic performance in every way. Results were better than advertised by Kevin.

I have a Jolida 502A integrated amp and Merlin Excalibur speakers. Pursuant to the suggestion on Upscale's website, I contacted Jolida to see if the KT150s would work with their amplifier. I was told that there would be no problem with the 150s and that they in fact liked the 150s a great deal, although expensive compared to other tubes. I ordered a set of four, matched and cryogenically treated. Once I installed them, I noticed a great deal more bass. Not boomy, but clean tight bass and everything else seemed cleaner. It was just as Kevin had described. The amp also seems to play louder at lower volumes than it used to. Now the that the tubes are broken in, I am in audio nervana; soundstage has opened up, bass is really tight and lifelike and the highs are very clean. I have been ordering tubes from Kevin for several years and not once have I been disappointed. Thanks Kevin.

I bought four of these for my Audio Research VSi75. If I had to summarize my impressions in only one word it would be: POWER. After a while I tried putting the KT-120s back in and there just is no going back. What an amazing upgrade!

I bought the KT150s to replace aging 120s in my Ref 150. Worked perfectly and they are a nice upgrade, more weight and and better bass from the amp now. Service from Upscale was first rate.

I replaced the KT 120's in my Audio Research Reference 75 amplifyer with these new KT 150's . This amp is known for its lack of grain ... but as soon as I fired it up and started playing music with the new tubes, I realized just how much grain and noise the amp was actually producing before. It was noise that was there, but I didn't realize it until it was gone. With the KT 150's there is a major improvement from top to bottom. The sound stage has widened immensely and goes more deeply, What's most impressive is the way solo instruments and vocals just pop out and present themselves. Dynamics are much improved ... and piano is to die for. I can hear the percussiveness of the piano like never before. Midrange clarity makes you snap to attention. I'm hearing more of the vocalist's personality coming through and the speakers dissapear like never before. . The highs are super clear and reach to forever. Vibes, high piano notes, cymbals, bells ... they all shine. The bass is more solid and tight. The icing on the cake is how much more tonally correct the instruments sound with the KT 150's ... and that's what its all about, isn't it, making music sound like music? So, for all of you Ref-75 owners out there, do yourself a big favor and order a matched quad of these wonderful tubes. The only downside I can think of is that you won't be able to fit the lid on top of your amp because the tubes a just a tad too high ... but then, we all know that this amp sounds better with the lid off anyway, right?
