“These NOS Tungsram ECC83 are absolutely beautiful sounding I went with the 3 of platinum grade and can say without reservation these tubes rock. They did not take long to break in but when they did the soundstage is wide, deep and holographic. Completely changed the way my Vincent SA-T1 sounds all I could was continue to say wow these are amazing. Thinking of getting 3 more just so I will always have a set. I don not care what they cost these are a must have you will not regret it.”

“First time for me owning Tungsram tubes. 4 of these 12AX7's popped into my new Mac pre-amp - and POW! Everyone else who has written here is correct- I've heard it with my own ears now. Increased frequency extension on both ends. Magical delicacy and overtones. I have heard positive changes from tube swaps before - but never like this. Plus online you can find a cool Tungsram t-shirt. Thanks Kevin & Crew!”

“Am moved to write to tell what a huge improvement my new Tungsram 12AX7s and Mullard 12AT7s have made in my VTL 5.5 preamp. They replaced five-year old Tesla J-Js. Count me a convert to super tubes. I notice an immediate full-range improvement---bass seeming to go down another half octave while everything else has new charm, sophistication, and vividness. Really. I'm a believer now.”

“These tubes are everything the description says. They are smooth, neutral, detailed and have incredible bass. I am using the Tungsrams and the Mullard Old Logo in my Primaluna Prologue 1. The result is simply astonishing. It quite literally was like getting a new amp. It is one of those musical epiphanies that has you going through your whole music collection because you are hearing things you never heard before from music you''ve listened to thousands of times. Simply incredible!”

“I use this tube in a Mapletree HD2 heaphone amplifier with Etymotic ER-4S earphones. It''s the best tube I''ve tried yet, of about a dozen NOS and current-production. I like it because it offers excellent frequency extension into the treble and the bass both, and the frequency response seems neutral. The combination of neutrality with excellent frequency extension on both ends really appeals to me.”
