“There was a mix-up with this product ending up not being what was advertised (even after I asked several questions about the product details). The product was advertised to be a "SE" (Special Edition), but it was not. It did not have the SE Super Tubes nor the SE Six Pak nor the SE Super Pak upgrades. There was also some uncertainty as to what DAC chips were in the unit (20 bit HDCD or 24 bit non-HDCD). The Laser also needed cleaning. The unit does sound nice now though and it will (assuming it last a few years) perform the intended purposes (although not it an "SE" capacity).”
