Based on the iconic jacket worn by Steve McQueen the Brooklands features many of the original design cues, blended with impressive technical spec. Included is ultra slimline d3o elbow and shoulder armour, with the option of adding back armour as desired. There is a removable thermal lining making this jacket suitable for year round use. We have put this jacket through its paces, riding from Scotland to Cape town in everything from snow to arid desert conditions. The Brooklands can go anywhere without fuss owing to the seam sealed waterproof and breathable membrane sitting beneath the outer cotton layer. Waist length jacket made from 8oz Wax Cotton Waterproof - Unlike the previous collection, this jacket is completely waterproof! Breathable Detachable bodywarmer - Manufactured for Belstaff by Valtherm, very effective. Courduroy lined neck collar Velvet lined cuffs Removable D3O armour - the best on the market! “Overall I was really pleased and would whole heartedly recommend Urban Rider. As an international buyer I like that they automatically take VAT off and the fact the website showed the price in my currency. There was a small issue with a delay in posting the jacket - but this was communicated well, a small refund given and the promise of when the jacket would then be posted was met. “Its a great product just be sure to order the correct size since they are a bit smaller in their fit than other clothes. If you normally wears M in shirts you should order the L jacket, but then the fit is excelent and quality is great”

“Bought the jacket in black from the store. The guys were very helpful and answered all my questions. A few points about the jacket: pros: 1. Looks great on and off the bike 2. Waterproof and keeps you worm in moderate gold weather. Not ideal for cold days below 5 oC. cons: 1. Most annoying thing about this jacket is the removable D3O armour in the elbows. The openings in the lining have no velcro to close, so you "catch" the hole every time you put your arm in the arm sleeve when you put the jacket on. 2. Armour in the elbows does not locate accurately on the joints and are not held tightly; loose-fitting clothing can allow the armor to shift out of position in a crash, leaving your joints exposed... 2. Would be better if the detachable bodywarmer had sleeves”
