Breathable and waterproof outer shell made from Oxford Polyamide fabric   Ventilation system for the chest, sides and back Synthetic down removable inner jacket Taped seams Reflective safety band on the neck Possibility to insert optional CE approved elbow and shoulder armour Hood, folds into the neck Equipped for Airbag use 2 year manufacturer's warranty A genuine four season jacket, the Trip has been hugely popular since its release.   The outer shell is more abrasian resistant than nylon based jackets and its taped seams result in a highly waterproof jacket suitable for higher speeds as well as city use.  The storm flap cleverly folds back and reveals full length vents, so plenty of air will circulate in summer months.  Side vents under the arm also add to the air flow. In cold weather, the internal down filled jacket attaches by a few buttons and snap fastenings, resulting in a very warm jacket.  The internal jacket is reversible so it can be worn by itself off the bike, ingenious! If you are looking for a single jacket to keep you super warm, dry and that can be used in all four seasons you won't find better than the Trip jacket.

This jacket comes close to getting more stars, it does most of what is says on the packet: Good fit - Light weight - Warm - Windproof The fitting around the cuffs is truly excellent, ample adjustment means no wind can sneak past at all. Sadly the same cannot be said of the neck, at anything over 50mph a draught can be felt on your chest, this can obviously be kept out with a neck warmer (my 'free' one never arrived) but as I'm currently riding in the beautiful summer of 2014 I can only assume it will be much more noticeable in the colder weather. I would question the breathability of the fabric too, it gets very clammy very quick, the clever front opening is a good idea, it pretty much persuaded me to get this jacket, but it is almost a necessity. I can't comment on its waterproof qualities as I have been lucky enough not to find any rain! Ultimately though, I am sending the Giacca Trip AB back as within ten hours of riding, two of the poppers have popped off, they are little ones securing the inner liner to the outer jacket shell, not hugely important but very inconvenient and not at all what I expect when paying around ه£200.00 for a jacket, whether or not it's just a one-off fault.

I love this Jacket! I live in Torquay, Australia - on the edge of the Great Southern Ocean - where the winter winds blow up from the Antarctic and the hot summer summers make your tyres stick to the bitumen. This jacket is an all year round stylish performer and I think I need to buy another soon.
