The first Roof Boxer was released in 1995 and immediately became one of the most recognisable and versatile helmets on the market. The current iteration of the Boxer is the V8, updated with a whole slew of technical innovations but retaining its iconic jetfighter style looks. What has been setting the Boxer series apart for over two decades now is of course its rotating chin bar. The Roof Boxer is homologated as both a full face and an open face helmet, meaning you can safely and legally wear it while riding with the chin bar in place or flipped all the way back. The operation is smooth and simple, and the two clips that lock the chin bar in place are easy to use, even with a gloved hand. As with all Roof helmets, you get a very comfortable helmet: the V8 has a very plush and soft interior and there are adjustable vents on the chin, forehead and back of the head to regulate the temperature and counter any fogging that might occur. The pivotting jet-style visor operates separately from the chin bar meaning you can move it up or down, whether you're riding full face or open face.
