“I picked this kit up in my local grocery store. My first time and it could have gone better. First because of my bad timing, I didn't allow enough time for the brine solution to cool so I didn't brine as long as I should have. Second, in order for the turkey to be submerged the bag was so full it was falling over the edge of the pan and was so heavy I was afraid it would break the shelf in the fridge. I ended up letting some of the fluid out and putting the bagged turkey in a stock pot. Alas it was not breast side down but it fit and was completely submerged and was not too heavy. The flavor was good but would have been better had I brined the full time. Plus it was done an hour earlier than the suggested time on the turkey instructions to 175 degrees so it was a little dry. All in all it was good but I wish I had watched the video before I did it. Will try again @ Christmas. At least my husband said ""You did good on the turkey"", which is a huge compliment coming from him.”

“I bought this and mailed it to mom who we then traveled to visit over Thanksgiving. The brine was awesome, the rub was awesome. Our only glitch was the brining bag had a triangular seal/ meld in the bottom third of the bag so we couldn't open it all the way. Luckily we had a brine bag unused leftover from a previous year. The plastic bag was the only reason this want 5 stars. I love their seasonings!”
