“I saw this in a display at the local supermarket, and thought it looked good. Reading the label I saw it only contained 80 mg of sodium per serving, which is fairly low and healthy. While cooking it, I re-read the label and noticed that the sodium level was based on the package containing 50 servings. What? Fifty servings. That's ridiculous. There's no way this package makes 50 servings. There is enough salt in this seasoning to kill a brine shrimp. The taste was OK, but it was difficult to tease out any actual flavor behind the overwhelming saltiness of it all. After a couple of bites, not wanting either my wife or I to die from a salt-induced, high blood pressure stroke, the rest went into the garbage can. Sorry.”
“The only thing wrong with this product is that it's not in a larger package. Would love to have more of this on one container than lots of little packages. Great stuff!”
“Love this stuff. I put a couple tablespoons in the flour I used to make pumpkin seed rustic bread. I had the bread with roasted squash soup with a pumpkin seed, pancetta, brown sugar brittle sprinkle topping. Yum.”
