Hello Tyler! Thank you for taking the time to review the item. I do apologize for the confusion when placing your order. However, on this item page, it does state in the notes "Includes oil pan only. Models that are not equipped with this pan from the factory require a specific oil return line (PN: 06A145735AB) select option from above to add this item..". If you would like to order the adapter we can get this going for you and include some swag for your inconvenience. Please let us know!

I bought this pan because it is the only one that costs what an oil pan should cost but the quality is just mediocre. Besides having to reseal the metal and aluminum portions, as stated in the product listing, mine had rough edges and casting flash that needed to be removed. During installation, a few of the holes were off far enough that I had to jack and pry the pan into position after getting it started. I also found that although I waxed the steel portion of the pan, the coating was easily scratched. Then, upon filling the oil, I was disappointed to find I had a leak. Turns out it was just the low quality crush washer on the drain plug leaking despite being what should have been sufficiently tight from the factory. It gets three stars just because it will get the job done but, when I am replacing it in a couple years because the coating failed and it is rusting out, I will be inclined to buy OEM.

Awesome price and it looks great. The drain plug that came with the oil pan was just what i needed. Let me explain why. I am doing a 1.8t swap into an mk2 with a big turbo. I am using g60 motor mount brackets. I had to plug the coolant line on the back of the block. Regular bolts were sticking out too far which was going to cause me to have to shave down the rear motor mount bracket. However, the drain plug that came with the hybrid oil pan was flat with an Alan key center. I used that drain plug and washer to plug the coolant line on the back of the 1.8t and fit the motor mount bracket without any issues. I couldnt be happier with this purchase.

I ordered the hybrid pan from urotuning, it is nice that Justin and his team tell you that it is a good idea to split the halves and reseal them yourself, they didn't have to do that but it shows they care about their customers and they're true enthusiasts. I would like to add a pic however I seem to not be able to on my phone. Great product, I do recommend resealing the halves yourself mainly for peace of mind, mine appeared to be fine but it took 10 mins when if you do have a problem after it's on the car it is a much bigger hassle to deal with later
