“Part was solid, welds didn't leak, and over all B grade craftsmanship. The person who TIG welded it didn't descale a couple spots and that just stands out to me. There also was excessive overcasting of the aluminum in the coolant channels that I had to rasp off myself when in most cases that should've been done at the factory. Like I said B grade, totally acceptable and cheaper than other aluminum replacements. I expected a little more effort on the casting at the very least. Doesn't leak and haven't had a problem from it in the weeks I've had it on the car though so it 100% works, maybe change your process around or get some better inspectors and you'd be spitting out A+ products in no time.”

We will bring this to our supplier's attention. Many of the flanges that we get in stock do not have large amounts of excess material as you mentioned. “the flange quality is good... had to knock some burrs off the inside with my dremel, but no worries... only thing, it can with the wrong-size o-ring for inside the heater hose connector ! can you do me a favor and send me the right one ?”

“Overall fantastic product however the only discrepancy that I have with it is that the casting edges inside the flange were not smooth down. I had to take a dremel to the inside and smooth edges down but other than that fantastic so far. Also I was very surprised by how fast it was shipped to me.”
