“I like the overall sound of the intake the only iffy thing is that at certain rpms it whistles, after doing some research i realized that it is the maf sensor that acts like a flute. Other than that great purchase and shipping time was reasonable and non damaged.”

“Better then the 'ebay' intakes. I like that it's plastic and not metal. Looks and sounds great. Rubs master brake cylinder, like other intakes, I had to adjust mine and use foam.”

“This is a really solid intake. Got it for my MK5 gti and got some noticeable power increase. Nice sound output that's not super overwhelming but still a huge difference from stock. Only complaint is the MAF port didn't sit perfect. Sanded it down even and now 2 months later no issues. Would recommend.”

“Great looking product and function but for some reason after the install I got a terrible rattle sound from my car every time I get passed 3k rpms and it's quite annoying I can't seem to fix it.”

“This intake isn't very well designed. It's your basic intake, it lacks a heat shield that makes it a real cai. It has only two mounting points one being the rubber gasket over the turbo inlet and one on the side of the motor it has a soft rubber grommet and a Bolt & Nut assembly there is a third place for another Bolt & Nut and bracket assembly on the bottom side of the intake tube over the heat shield for the exhaust after having the and installed I realize that when you start the engine the intake pipe hits the brake fluid reservoir making the car sound like it has a rod knock the mechanic that installed the intake on my car said that there was a third bracket that wasn't in the Box he proceeded to show me on this computer at the Autotech website the third bracket so I drove my car home and I ended up calling Autotech I talk to a service representative by the name of the Nate he told me that the picture for the FSI intake was the actual picture of the TSI intake and the bracket only came with the TSI intake I talk to urotuning and was told I couldn't return the intake if it was installed so I called autotech back and asked if I could order the bracket they told me the bracket only comes with tsi intake as the tsi intake was redesigned but if you look at both the tsi and fsi intake picture they use the same picture autotech claims to have a customer satisfaction program so I asked if I could return it to them and get a refund they told me I would have to return it to urotuning and they would issue a refund to Eurotuning and urotuning would have to refund my money so I emailed urotuning and haven't heard back from them so I'm giving this intake 2 stars it does want it supposed to do but it does it very poorly if you're looking for a cheap intake Yeah by this one my recommendation you get what you pay for but I would suggest you spend a little bit more and get a bsh, apr, forge or unitronic as there are better designed they come with a true cai bracket and are of better design”

“The intake is good but I did have to sand the area where the maf goes so the maf would sit flat and make a good seal”
