“Exactly what I was wanting. Significantly increased turbo noises! More so when window is down. Paired it with the high flow cts elbow inlet pipe. Hardest part about install was making the heat shield box. Holes don't line up well. This literally took me 20 minutes to put together itself. Other than that, I highly recommend this intake.”

“Pros: Intake sounds great. Probably no real gains from it, I just did it for turbo noise. Good finish and looks great in the engine bay. Cons: 1) Poor attention to detail from CTS. The box is a real pain to put together. The holes don't line up very well, so you have to really put pressure on things to get the bolts through, which required me using my arms and legs to try to hold things. There really isn't any excuse for this type of thing on a part like this. 2) It was a bit confusing where to put the vacuum hose on the new intake. A little thinking told me it should go on the secondary intake, not the nipple on the intake pipe itself. The directions said nothing about this. They should really make two different pipes, as there is an unused nipple on intake pipe meant for the Golf R that has to be covered. All in all I'm happy with the intake, but I bought it over the much cheaper injen intake expecting better quality, so I was little frustrated that it took longer to put the box together than actually installing the intake, and the lack of detail of CTS instructions.”

“This intake is awesome, it fits clean and nicely and sounds awesome! No need to purchase anything else to hear your turbo clearly! Definitely a head turner when I shift through the gears! Overall a great product for the price, I’ve already ordered more CTS parts.”
