“I hate complaining, but buyer beware. Trust me, spend the extra money on the other brands when it comes to carbon mirror caps. Skimping on the extra $75-$150 will not be worth it. Not only was the shipping process messed up (a harbinger perhaps), but the fitment of the mirror caps is unacceptable. Neither side seats 100% with the usual locking “click” when installing mirror caps on E9Xs (the right side being the worst offender). You can pull them off by hand, versus needing a tool with correctly fitting, fully locked on mirror caps. The security of the caps is questionable on a car with very high NVH—not to mention inevitable water ingress. I’ve experienced and seen how other aftermarket mirror caps fit, and these are poorly fitting. The carbon finish does look great though.”
