The parts are the right shape but the castings were a bit rough on the inside and we had to deburr them so that the sensors would seat right. Other than that, they work flawlessly.

Very solid solution to an oem issue. The aluminum is robust and will not fail like the factory plastic coolant parts. Would give this product 5 stars if the outlet flange on the head had an O ring, instead it was supplied with a paper gasket that did not seal. I ended up using coolant safe RTV to seal the flange to the head. The flanges performed perfect through a 14 hour endurance race.

There was a great deal of flashing and sharp transitions in the internal castings of these parts that I felt needed to be ground and filed out. In addition, the split pipe coolant fitting is not for the TT Mk1 AMU 225 so save your money and order the other 3 flanges separately.

Simply put, its the best solution to a typical crack in the coolant flange. Would recommend to everyone just for a higher quality upgrade.

I bought the hose connections thinking that they would be an awesome upgrade to my GTI. When I received the fittings the casting of the inside of them was horrible the opening where small and rough. I had to grind them out and sand blast them to be functional. They where not made to please me because I had to do most of the clean up work on them myself. I have pictures I can send of them.
