We apologize if you are confused with the shipping insurance. This covers more than the standard lost or damaged packages. Route will cover theft as well if the package was taken from your doorstep whereas UPS, USPS, and FedEx do not cover theft.

“Not sure this is even worth it as long as the shipper makes an updated before the last expected shipping date the claim date just keeps changing and you can never file a claim. It took 2 extra weeks to get my package with no help from the Route Package Insurance. Waste of money”
