Olive Green Ultimate Utility Kilt with Comfort Waist
The ultimate utility kilt from UT Kilts is the definitive kilt in regards to comfort and function. This kilt has the most pockets out of all of our utility kilts including cargo pockets, slash pockets, rear pockets, and a secret, under-apron pocket. With this many pockets it will be a challenge for you to even come close to filling them up. However, this is not the best thing about this kilt. The UT Kilts exclusive Comfort Waist allows this kilt to go up in size without adjusting the look of your kilt. Just about every other utility kilt uses snaps or velcro to allow adjustment in the waist. Whenever you do that the kilt will not sit/look correct. You have to move your kilt to one side to get the front apron to align properly, which puts the side cargo pockets and rear pleats out of alignment (and vise-versa). Not with the Comfort Waist! An elastic waist built into the inside of the kilt that allows the kilt to expand without changing anything else on the kilt. It cannot be seen from the outside of the kilt. You can comfortably get 2-3 inches more room in the waist with our Comfort Waist (see sizing instructions below for details). We promise you will not find a more comfortable or functional kilt anywhere.

Sizing / Measuring
It is extremely important you follow our measuring video and order the size you need based on your measurement, not pants size.  All of men's pants are labeled 2-4 inches smaller than what they actually measure.  Please see our measuring video below or checkout or measuring page here.
If you measure an even size like 38 or 40, then order that exact size.  If you fall in between sizes, you can order down to the nearest even size for a snug fit or up in size for a loose fit.
One of the biggest questions that also come up about sizing is weight loss / gain.  If your waist fluctuates within 2-3 inches, you can order the size your waist will be at the smallest point of your fluctuation. When weight loss is a goal, you can order smaller.  However, keep in mind that that the kilt should only be 2 - 3 inches smaller than what you measure (3 inches is pushing to the limit. 1.5 - 2 is best).  For example, if you measure 45 but will eventually get down to a 42, you can order a 42.  Just keep in mind the 42 will be a tight fit in the waist and hips until the weight comes off.
With that said, we always recommend ordering as close to your current waist measurement as possible for the best fit.

The most comfortable, versatile, and well made garment I own! I have two and will get a couple more for sure. It came on time and fit great.

I absolutely love this kilt. It's my go to for any outdoor adventure. It's tough and holds up to the abuse of the outdoors.

Brice worked with me to determine the correct fit. The ultimate is amazing. Comfortable and perfect for daily use. Mow the lawn, shopping trips, hikes, and in the office. My wife can’t stop ogling me.

I wore this kilt to a charity golf tournament, and I was the most comfortable one on the green.

The photographs are of me wearing the full ensemble, plus a few of my own accoutrements, ready to head out the door for dinner out with my wife. Although the video doesn't show it, having casually entered into the keg toss at the 2019 annual Viking Fest in Whitestown Indiana, I nearly fell short of the mark and wound up being the Third farthest toss. Roughly 25 participants. Lots of people were asking about the Kilt and talking about UT Kilts at that event. My brother introduced me to UT Kilts as he purchased the standard II Kilt in Olive Green because it matched the Boy Scouts colors and he is one of the leaders at his local Troop. I became enamored with it due to its quality of construction, affordability, and as an Army veteran I too prefer the olive color. I don't spend a lot of time at home and haven't had many opportunities to wear it out but I'm starting to look for more. My brother and I are starting to look at some of the various intensity runs in our area and fully intend to be representing UT Kilts as we compete.

Bought a couple of new kilts before our trip back in October . The first ever comfort waist kilt I’ve ever owned. Great experience! Also became known as “the kilt guy” by the store owners in the small town we stayed in. One actually took my photo for advertising. The kilt was a big hit, thank UT!

Absolutely love my kilt from UTKilts! Their service was phenomenal! When my order arrived, the chain hanger wasn't in the shipment. I called to inquire about it, and within the hour, my chain hanger was shipped and on it's way. My kilt fits me excellent, the stockings are top quality...all in all a great experience!
