“I purchased the door kit to replace my steel framed ones as the previous owner of the Ranger had cut the windows out with a razor knife. I wasn’t very happy with the latch setup on the new door kit or the ultra light aluminum multi piece frame, so I decided to simply put the new door skin on the old framework instead. There was nothing wrong with the old frame, just the skin. Overall I wish I could have just purchased the outer skin on its own as $800 just to use the skins seems a bit much since the multi piece frame and latch assembly was very cheesy at best.”

“Really impressed with the fitup and tight seal. Very few, and if any very small, gaps that could most like be adjusted out. Made a big difference so far with keeping the chill down. Windows unzip and roll/fold down very easily and I like the magnetic sleeve they fit in. Frame is solid enough for an arm rest. Actual install time probably 2+ hours (though an estimate as we originally assembled the frame & skins then later installed the doors on to the machine and other accessories/hardware had to be removed for install). Would, and already have, recommend.”

“I have mixed feelings in these doors. They are quite an effort to put together and it helps to have a second person, and at the end of it all my fit isn’t quite without gaps. Also, first ride my son didn’t have it closed all the way and it swung open and bent the hinge at about 10pm, so fairly easy to damage. Do they get the job done? Yes, do I wish I ponied up for poly doors from the factory, yes.”
