A lot of Work in the end I had to make my own "closed position" clamping system the one from the factory was impossible to install. I fabricated edge clamps that clamped against the roll bar.

The windshield works very well in providing (3) positions (full open, vent and closed). The instructions need to be updated as the hinge design has changed. Additionally, the bolts securing the hinge to the windshield need to be shortened (photo #3). As installed, their length interferes with the process of bolting the hinges to the upper roll bar. You will need to cut away the crimp seal around the hinges as well to assure a tight flat mount to the windshield (photo #3). If you have lower level radio installed, you will need to remove the top pad to access the IP cross brace for installation of the support bracket (photo #2). Also you will need a helper to install the bolts through the positioning bracket and top pad to the support bracket. I do not believe this will work with the upper level touch screen radio.

Great windshield, perfect fit for my Polaris General. Assembly IS required, but is very straight forward. However, it would appear the hinge assembly provided is a new upgrade and the instructions do not reflect that change. Not that it was hard to figure out how to install, but it is a shame the instructions don't match the components. Also, the provided bolts/nuts package was short 3 nuts, requiring a run to the hardware store! But don't get me wrong, this is a great windshield and I would recommend it to anyone who wants the versatility of an operable windshield.
