Vedder's custom-engineered claw attachment is designed to provide maximum concealment and greater comfort during concealed carry. The Vedder Holster Claw is a great addition to your standard LightTuck holster!
What is a Concealment Claw and What Does it Do?
A concealment claw, also known as a holster claw or “wing,” is a holster attachment designed to hold your gun closer to your body to prevent printing and provide greater concealment.
Holster claws also help distribute the weight of your gun, which makes for a more comfortable carry. The additional point of contact also keeps your weapon more secure.
What Are the Features of the Vedder Holster Claw?
Easily attaches to most LightTuck models using a simple drill and a few pieces of hardware that come included with the claw.
Claw is made of a composite polymer with a two-part resin to give it added strength.
Works in nearly every concealed carry position.
What do you get when you buy the Vedder Holster Claw?
Order comes with a template and an extended retention screw to help you attach the claw using your original post and retention spacer.
Claw comes with detailed attachment instructions.
For instructions on how to attach the claw to your existing LightTuck, check out our video tutorial at www.VedderHolsters.com/clawinstall.
* Please note that due to the LightTuck holster’s wide range of adjustability, the claw may not be ideal in all carry positions/angles. If you prefer to carry your LightTuck in the deepest adjustment level or with a strong degree of reverse cant, the claw may not make the necessary contact with your belt to be effective.

The claw add on is a great addition to your IWB holster, especially if you carry appendix carry. It was easy for me to install and it really pulls the pistol in closer to your body as long as your belt is snug. They say that the claw is not compatible with the Colt Mustang holster but I did not find that to be the case. However, there is limited space on this particular holster below the trigger so a small section on the corner of the claw hangs off of the holster. The claw is still firmly attached and does what it needs to do fine.

I love the claw! I have been using light tuck holsters for about 2 yeas now and really like them. I recently bought a few claws to add to them. I cannot believe what a difference they make. I carry at about 4:00 and would have to be carful of bending down and printing or of my shirt coming up over my gun if I sat a while. With the claw the butt of the gun hugs my body and carrying with only a t-shirt as cover is no problem. I have my holster adjusted with a forward cant so I actually installed the claw with the same cant and am very happy with it. It also helps hold the gun at the correct cant and not shift.

Holsters suck. Carrying a gun.... Sucks. And I especially don't like to appendix carry because well, you guessed it, it sucks. But after getting my SIG and watching a couple of reviews I decided to get another holster with this claw thing hoping it would not suck. Well, it doesn't. Its actually quite comfortable. Now I carry more and bitch less. These aren't the cheapest out there but think of how many holsters you have and don't use. I'm not an expert, just a guy with too many holsters.

I bought this to add to my Light Tuck for a Shield 9mm. Installation itself was a breeze. But the claw moves around quite a bit, wiggling around the retention screw. Also, the claw doesn't seem long enough to reach my belt, with my belt clip in the mid position, only half the claw connects. I am assuming a factory install would be more precise. ***VH COMMENT*** Thank you taking the time to review your experience. We are so sorry to hear that you had some trouble and we are more than happy to assist you in getting this address. Bought one for holster from a different co. That doesn’t offer a claw option and modded it to accept the vedder claw. Works so well my wife wanted me to order another to mod her holster with.

Thanks for offering a claw at a reasonable price, one half of what others charge. Once installed, printng with the gun grip is significantly reduced. The screw to attach the claw was too short for my Kahr pm9 I **VH COMMENT** I am sorry to hear that your screw was too short to fit your PM9 holster. This should certainly not be the case. We would love to see why this issue is occurring so we can resolve it for you. We thank you for your business and taking the time to share your feedback.

Wasn't expecting it to make much of a difference on a Glock 43 holster but it was amazing. I could almost wear a lycra shirt without it printing. Have to get one for the 19 now
