Vedder's custom-engineered claw attachment is designed to provide maximum concealment and greater comfort during concealed carry. The Vedder Holster Claw is a great addition to your standard LightTuck holster!
What is a Concealment Claw and What Does it Do?
A concealment claw, also known as a holster claw or “wing,” is a holster attachment designed to hold your gun closer to your body to prevent printing and provide greater concealment.
Holster claws also help distribute the weight of your gun, which makes for a more comfortable carry. The additional point of contact also keeps your weapon more secure.
What Are the Features of the Vedder Holster Claw?
Easily attaches to most LightTuck models using a simple drill and a few pieces of hardware that come included with the claw.
Claw is made of a composite polymer with a two-part resin to give it added strength.
Works in nearly every concealed carry position.
What do you get when you buy the Vedder Holster Claw?
Order comes with a template and an extended retention screw to help you attach the claw using your original post and retention spacer.
Claw comes with detailed attachment instructions.
For instructions on how to attach the claw to your existing LightTuck, check out our video tutorial at www.VedderHolsters.com/clawinstall.
* Please note that due to the LightTuck holster’s wide range of adjustability, the claw may not be ideal in all carry positions/angles. If you prefer to carry your LightTuck in the deepest adjustment level or with a strong degree of reverse cant, the claw may not make the necessary contact with your belt to be effective.

Well worth the $6 to add to my pre-existing LightTuck. The base of the handle sits a half inch closer to my abdomen. That small distance makes a great difference optimizing concealment. I prefer fitted t-shirts and the claw facilitates my wardrobe choice.

Two days before they debuted the claw I was looking for one that I might be able to jury rig to my two Vedder holsters. Well, they solved that problem. Easy to install and works great. Pushes my grip in tight for better concealment yet still gives me a good draw. Cudos to the Vedder family.

Installed the claw on both of my Lighttuck Kydex IWB holsters (S&W M&P 45 and Walther PK380). On both printing is noticeably reduced when wearing t-shirts and nonexistent wearing anything heavier. I can even carry the Smith with the larger magazine. Well worth the small price.

Was just getting ready to contact Vedder and see what it would cost to adapt one of their holsters to except a claw, when I get this email notifying me that they have added a claw to their line of products. Ordered 3. These work great and help keep the butt of the handgun tucked into the body. AWSOME! I carry every day and always use the vedder products. GREAT HOLSTERS! Even better with their claw.

This claw is the perfect addition for my light tuck holster. I've been having trouble concealing properly in the appendix position. I weigh 130 pounds, therefore, the circumference of my waist is very small. The claw hides the grip of my Glock 43 perfectly.

After going around and around with Holsters, I found that the LightTuck was 'almost' perfect for G42..I like to wear handgun low(appendix)..it printed a wee bit with a +1 magazine..so tried the claw but it isn't long enough with the holster adjusted for it's lowest position(clip at highest position on holster). The claw doesn't push against the belt, but my trousers..so doesn't decrease printing. Still love the holster and will continue to use it exclusively. **VH COMMENT** Thank you for your feedback. Due to the high degree of adjustability of the LightTuck holster, there are some instances where the claw may not make enough contact to be effective on the lowest ride height setting. I will certainly pass your suggestions on to our product development team to see if there is any way we can make this adjustment for future product updates. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.
